Wilcox: Robert Gordon (Bobby),
Born January 3, 1954 at Brampton Peel Memorial. Predeceased by his father Ivan Wilcox and his mother Gladys Wilcox (nee: Pollock), and his stepmother Mary Alice Courneyea. He is survived by his sisters Linda Mae Maxey, Mary Lou Yamamoto, his brothers Paul, and David, and his brothers in law Bev Maxey, Glen Yamamoto, and sister in law Susan Crumbie.
Robert took up the trade his father taught in the 70’s and there are many a house or barn with the Wilcox name on them in Woodbridge. In 2010 cancer put a hold on his life and he began a long fight against this terrible disease. In 2021 once again, the cancer came back and covid-19 finally took his life. He enjoyed a long and eventful life hunting and fishing at the camp in Biscotasing.
Rest peacefully Bob and enjoy the fishing.

Not sure what happened to the previous condolence I posted to the family, so just sending along another one. I knew Bobby only a little, but certainly knew his Dad Ivan (one of my favourite cousins over the years) & we lived across the road from his grandparents. I understand he had many challenges in life, but we all do at one time or another, and I pray that he iis now resting in peace. When you love someone that love does not disappear when they die, but is tucked in a corner of your heart. So family keep your good memories in that sacred corner and let the not so good ones fade into the past. Linda Mae I guess i know you more than the rest of you family and I know you worked for a long while with my cousin Loretta. God Be With All Of You.
