
McCool: Sharon,
Sharon Violet McCool passed away peacefully on August 28, 2022, at Simcoe Manor in Beeton Ontario. Sharon at the age of 78 years, predeceased by her parents James and Margaret (nee: Mancini) McCool. Loving sister of James (Phyllis), the late Brian (Sandra), Marlene Currie (the late Bob), Patrick (Connie), and Kevin (Kimm). Sadly missed by her 19 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews and 16 great great nieces and nephews, who loved and adored their beloved aunt. She will be deeply missed among her family and friends.
Sharon was kind and warm hearted. She was very humble and sacrificed so much for others. Sharon was always the one that anyone could count on to help with whatever was needed and she was generous beyond words. She was the epitome of what family stands for, dedicated and completely devoted to her family, family was her life. Nothing gave her more pleasure than holding a new niece or nephew. She was a true and loyal friend to many and looked forward to her lunch clubs and social gatherings. Her sense of humour will be fondly remembered and could always be counted on at a family party or among her friends. Sharon will be sorrowfully missed by all who loved her.
The Family wishes to thank the incredible staff at the Simcoe Village and the nursing team on the Tosorontio and Essa units of Simcoe Manor for the wonderful care they provided Sharon.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held in St. James Church Colgan on Tuesday September 6, 2022 at 11am. Interment will be held at a later date in Cote des Neiges Cemetery. For those who wish donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. She was always ready to help or respond to a special request and brightened every day with her wonderful sense of humour. I also enjoyed seeing her at our lunches prior to Covid. Sharon was one of a kind, truly kind and funny. I too will miss her, as will my mother who loved her to bits! Sharon was often sent home with home made pickles and coleslaw.
