Regretfully I will not be able to attend due to recent illness in the family that we do not wish to spread.
I first met Hank in 1972 when I went to work for him at Tonecraft Paints. I quickly found that you did not work for Hank, you worked with him as a student to his mentor. Over many years in the paint industry at different companies for both of us it was always a pleasure to see him at meetings etc. After Hank retired we lost touch but I always remembered his friendship and help through the years. The las time I saw Hank was a chance meeting at Tim Horton’s in Thornton. Unfortunately we did not have much time together as Hank was on his way home from golf to fix something, but it was great to have a quick coffee and find out how he was still so active.
A good friend and a good man. Rest in Peace Hank. Your family can always remember you were one of a kind.

Dear Olive and all of Hank’s Family, Hank was such a friendly man, and definitely known as a ”true gentleman”. We enjoyed our chats with him, and his company in the
”Pines Choristers”, May you be given God’s peace, love and strength at this time. We extend our sympathy and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers,.

    Mike, Jean and Family:
We have fond memories of your Dad who we lovingly called “Hank Ank” when he helped so much at Camp Mini Yo We. Sharpening knives and whistling while he worked, comes to mind. Also we remember your Dad supplied all the paint for our new house that we built, when we were young and in need of some help! So grateful! We even got to pick the colors 🙂
Blessings to you all as you seek the Lord in the the days ahead,
    Love Warren and Bev McLaren

We know your dad is “with Christ, which is better by far” Phil 1:23

Do not say…”Earth to Earth, Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust”…
Rather say, “Death to Life, Faith to Sight, Earth to Glory!”

Our sympathy to all Hank’s family. We didn’t see each other often. He made sure he visited as much family as remaines in Chesley, the little town he called home in his youth.

    He will be missed!

It was a very great pleasure to have known Hank when I was the minister at Rich Hill UC, and presiding at his wedding with Olive is one of my favorite memories. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Thank you David for your kind message. That was a special day for us and Hank really wanted you to officiate at our wedding before you left Rich Hill. You made the day extra special for him.
