Passed away on January 6, 2023, in Waterloo, ON at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline for over 50 years, before she predeceased Paul in 2015. Cherished father of Dan (Patricia) and Nita Pronovost. Loving grandfather of Devin and Joane Pronovost. Brother of Leon, Odile Laframboise, Nicole, and Louise. Predeceased by siblings Jacques, Thérèse Grégoire.
Paul will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Saturday February 4, 2023 from 11:00am until time of Memorial service in the chapel at 12:00pm. A reception will follow with a light lunch and refreshments at the Tottenham Legion, 25 Richmond St., Tottenham.
A special thank you to Dr. Benaroia and all of the team at the Grand River Dialysis Unit for their continuous care and compassion. Thanks also to the staff at Westhill Retirement Home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Époux bien-aimé de Jacqueline pendant plus de 50 ans, avant qu’elle ne décède avant Paul en 2015. Père bien-aimé de Dan (Patricia) et Nita Pronovost. Grand-père bien-aimé de Devin et Joane Pronovost. Frère de Léon, Odile Laframboise, Nicole et Louise. Prédécédé par ses frères et sœurs Jacques, Thérèse, et Grégoire.
Paul manquera énormément à sa famille et à ses amis.
Conformément aux souhaits de Paul, la crémation a déjà eu lieu. Un service commémoratif aura lieu à une date ultérieure à la maison funéraire Rod Abrams, à Tottenham, Ontario.
La famille adresse ses remerciements au Dr. Benaroia et à toute l’équipe de l’unité de dialyse de l’Hôpital Grand River pour leurs soins continus et leur compassion. Les remerciements de la famille sont également adressés au personnel de la maison de retraite Westhill.
Un don à la Société Alzheimer ou à la Société Canadienne du Cancer serait apprécié par la famille au lieu de fleurs (des cartes de dons seront disponibles au salon funéraire).
