Dear Christine:
To you and your family, on behalf of De Beers Canada, we offer our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom. From what you have described, she certainly was most courageous and determined, a lady with a strong will and a display of independence.
She will clearly be missed by your entire family and all her friends. Take strength in the many fond memories and values she has given you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. In sincere sympathy,
Ingrid Hann

Momsy, what can we say but you will be deeply missed by your family and of course your ‘adopted’ characters, namely Peter and Pam. Chris, Joe and you brought us into your family many years ago. It was automatic we called you Momsy. It wasn’t until many years later we found out your real name was Lillian. How you laughed at that. Your quick wit, humour, stories, and your big generous heart kept us so inspired and in awe. You will definitely be deeply missed.
Chris & family – With our deepest sympathy, Peter & Pam

Christine, Bruce and families,
Our hearts were broken to hear of Lillian’s passing.
We go back a long way, even before you children were born. Your family became our chosen family.
Lillian was a very “Special” Lady with a wonderful sense of humour and a big heart. Love, Auntie Jeanette and Uncle Lloyd

Don Thyer and Family says
I was so very sorry to receive the tragic news that Lillian my dear family friend of long standing had passed away. On behalf of the Thyer family please accept our sincere condolences. As you are aware Christine the Thyer’s and Longman’s were “Family” as being longtime members of “The English Crowd” as Doris used to say, We shared together so many good times for over 50 years. I shall miss Lillian’s many telephone calls since Thelma passed away and not forgetting those get togethers in the past which were always so entertaining and where we always shared a laugh with regard to the happenings of our respective families.
With our deepest sympathy,
Don and family
