Peacefully at Good Samaritan Senior Complex on July 25, 2023. Roy Gillard at the age of 92 years, beloved husband of the late Dorothy Gillard (nee: Mullins). Loving father of Steven (Colleen), Christine (Dean), Jennifer, Albert (Angela), and the late Jennine. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Danielle (Tyler), Matthew, Meghan, Tirzah, Jenica, Keziah, Christopher, Julianna and his great grandchildren Jace, Finn, Avary and Rowan.
Roy was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him great joy. Roy will be missed by his nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.
Roy is also remembered as a long term and valued employee of Black & McDonald Electrical Contractors and Mississauga Hydro.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Tuesday August 1, 2023 from 6 to 8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday August 2, 2023 at 11am. Reception to follow. Interment will be held at Mt. Tegart Cemetery.
