    Sad news indeed.
Hans will be missed, a bright light indeed.
He was a kind, generous and honest man, always a smile on his face.
We have shared many good antiquing conversations over a bad cup of coffee. he was definitely a curator of time.
His love for his family was unsurpassed.
Dianne, Tawnia and Kerri, my heart goes out to you.
I will miss Hans and his acts of kindness.
    kindest regards

An era ended for me when I heard the news of Hans’ passing. Diane, Tawnia and Kerri, words cannot express my deepest condolences.
I will remember so fondly the memories I have of Hans. How he would stop in and visit with me at my antique shop in Caledon on his way home from work at the Star. I remember always being so very excited to see “The Star Car” pull into our parking lot! I new what that meant, there would be stories of the day, told with passion and enthusiasm. There would be coffee and perhaps a donut, there might have even been a new antique item that he had found at an auction and fallen in love with. Over many, many years we would enjoy many conversations over coffee and try and figure out the history of his fantastic antique pieces.
I wish I could see that “Star Car” with Hans and his bright and ever-smiling face once more. Alas, I know that he will be the Star that shines from Heaven, so brightly for all of us to see.
Many wonderful, wonderful memories I will always have to look back and smile upon, may you too as well.

    Regards,
    Charlie Fendley

Hans was a great supporter of the music at our little church at Adjala United and, as well , for me as the music director. His gifts to me of old music ,recordings and music stands ,collected at various auctions and sales, will always remind me of a man who wanted to show his appreciation to people who made life at his church so important.
I will miss him and I want Dianne to know that there is always a song in my heart for her.
    God Bless
    Mark.
