Passed away peacefully on Thursday September 25, 2025 with his daughter by his side at Mill Creek Care Centre, Barrie.
Dear father to Johnny (Laura), the late Brett, Nadine (Brian) and the late Adam (Maria). Proud grandfather to his 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. John will be missed by sisters Sylvia (John) and Pamela (Earl). Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham ON 905-936-3477 on Saturday September 27, 2025 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Reception will follow in the funeral home’s Cliffside Hall from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. My condolences to John’s family. We have been friends since I was 16 years old – 52 years in total. We kept in touch for the last 14 years since he got in touch with my son, Paul. He was a beloved friend and confidante and my children know him as a very good friend of the family. I will miss him so very much and my heart goes out to all of his family!!
