
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Sharon McKay, 46, on December 7, 2025, at her home in Barrie, Ontario.
Sharon was born June 7, 1979, in Brampton, Ontario, to Alexander “Sandy” and Margaret “Betty” (Horan) McKay.
Sharon is survived by her parents, Sandy and Betty McKay, her children Megan Thomas and Alysha Bertrand: her Grandmother, Jacqueline McKay; her niece, Emily McKay: her nephews, Austin and Dylan McKay; along with many extended family members, aunts and uncles, and friends. She is predeceased by her brother, Michael McKay.
Sharon will always be remembered as a strong-willed, altruistic, and vibrant woman with an extraordinary personality. She always kept a positive attitude, even in the most difficult of moments.
Memorial Service will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Wednesday December 17th, 2025 with Visitation from 10am until time of Service in the chapel at 11am.
