November 26, 1961 – January 1, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tony on January 1, 2026, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario.
Tony was born in Clinton, Ontario. He lived in different locations during the first 20 years of his life until he found Beeton, Ontario, where he decided to put his roots down. Tony opened his business, Beeton Auto Service, and ran it successfully for 35 years. He was a genius at his craft.
Tony was a kind, loving soul, always willing to help others. Unfortunately, illness contributed to his early retirement but didn’t stop him from enjoying hobbies of all sorts.
Tony will be sadly missed by his wife, Fulvia Carota (Fu), and his furry kid, Leo. Loving brother of James Corran and Bradley Corran (the late Kelly). He will also be missed by his nephew, Andrew Corran (A.J.).
Thank you to all the staff, especially the nurses, who cared for him at Southlake Hospital, and to all his close friends he confided in. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.
A private Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Tony to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online condolences or memories may be left for the family at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com.
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive…
And it is in dying that we are
Born to eternal life.

Dear Fu and Family
I am so very sorry to learn of Tony’s passing. He was a lovely man and I always trusted his expertise with my car, but valued his kindness and friendship even more. I was always glad to run into him from time to time in town. He will be sadly missed. May you find comfort in your many wonderful memories.

Deeply saddened to lose a good friend and gentle soul. Fu im so sorry and to Leo as well. Meow. Saturdays for coffee were looked forward to and always learned something whether showing me native artifacts collected or several mechanical projects on the go. Old school man, he taught me lots and was always giving me stuff. Plants for the garden or, the dream catcher sits in front of me, I cant look at right now without tears. Will put it on a window as you said. Ill miss your 4:00 am emails and more. John Westlake Tony spoke lots and highly of you. He also loved the truck and put lots of care into it. My foster mom Joan McCullough deeply saddened, she always talked about how well you took care of her. Of all of us.

Hello everyone, I met tony a few moons ago back when his shop was on main st beeton. There were not many mechanics in beeton at the time. So my father and tony grew to be good friends. I later found out tony had many passions and hobbies. One of them were playing drums in his band with his good friend and co-worker John. Tony offered to teach me drums. So once a week my Dad and I would go visit, dad would watch whatever Fu had on and tony and I would jam lol. As I slowly build my own philosophy I realize the importance of people like this in my life, thanks Tony, may you live forever.

We are so saddened to hear about Tony’s passing. There are such fond memories of times with him. Tony taught our son Derek how to play the drums, and we remember the time when we went to hear Tony’s band in the backyard, and Tony sang for us from behind the bushes! John and Tony had a pretty good barter system going on… John (and our young son Dan)wired the shop while Tony repaired our cars. And I will forever remember the day when Tony arrived at our house with a small ornament for my garden for no reason at all. It touched my heart forever and reminds me of the quiet, caring man that he was. He will always be remembered with smiles and warm hearts by our family.
Our sincerest condolences to Fu. Blessings from John and Pat

My deepest condolences for the passing of my cousin Tony! My memories of Tony (and Jim and Brad) are from Grandpa and Grandma’s dairy farm between Bayfield and Clinton, Ontario. We were just kids! Snow forts, teasing their dog Tippy, and just things kids do around the farm and back at the bush! Hugs to the whole family!
