To Erla’s family and friends our deepest condolence. Although we didn’t see each as often as we should, we did talk on the phone from time to time. We would catch up on family and things going on in our life. Erla always had a good funny story to tell.

Sorry I couldn’t be at the service today. I had a bad cold and not feeling very well.

Karen, Bob, Paul, Leanne and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful mother, Earla.
She was a loyal friend to my late mother and father, and a very special part of my early childhood growing up in Tottenham, caring for me every day until kindergarten and, after that, whenever my parents were away. Her home was like a second home to me, and my memories of time spent there with one of my best childhood friends, Paul, are among the happiest of my childhood.
I still fondly remember the card games she taught us, the many Scrabble matches at the kitchen table, and messing about with Paul in the rec room under her watchful eye. She was kind and patient with us, but firm when needed, and her care and guidance helped shape me in those early years.
I have always looked up to Earla as someone who took pleasure in the simple things in life, and admired her quiet dedication to the community, her faith, and her many friends.
Take comfort in knowing that Earla was a fine example of a life well lived and leaves a wonderful legacy in her loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Dear Karen Paul Bob LeeAnn with your extended family and friends! My heartfelt condolences to all of you! May God comfort you and give you strength in this difficult time. It’s a honor too have cared for your mom. I will miss our weekly visits and catch up’s. I don’t know anyone who is more of the biggest BlueJay fan than your mom was. Earla was the queen of puzzles and proud too. Her face would lite showing them to me. She loved her outting’s to play Euchre. I would watch her rip paper for points that needed to be written. Earla spoke of her roots where she worked and the unconditional love she had of her family.
Earla thank you I will miss you deeply
Till we meet again. I can picture you saying to me is that a threat or a promise. Lol

Dear Karen, Bob, Leanne, Paul, all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, we are so sorry and send deepest sympathy to you all.
She was the most avid Euchre, Scrabble player in the whole wide world.
She made the best butter tarts ever, sadly I never learned how to make them like she did.
Auntie Erla and I have had the best phone calls for many years, sometimes we talked quite awhile, but believe me I have learnt a lot, she would tell me about what happened way back and I would ask more questions. She would tell me all about her grandbabies and great grandbabies, she was a great Mom and Nana for sure!
Auntie Erla I love you dearly and going to miss our chats!
Thank Goodness for the tons of memories that will be cherished for evermore!

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom and Nan. She was a lovely lady I was always happy to pop in to see her for a visit. She was a dear friend of Mom’s and they spent many afternoons together playing euchre, chatting and lots of laughs along the way. When I was a little girl she always stopped by for a visit when we were at my Aunt Lottie’s, a memory I will treasure. Im so sorry for your loss. I remember being at the cottage with Erla n family for many years. It was so much fun up there. Something to look forward too every summer. Erla was a great scrabble player. My mom, would go down, every Wednesday night, after she closed the Credit Union for years, to try and beat Erla in scrabble. Sometimes she did lol. Erla will truly be missed.
God rest her soul and may everyone one, meet you at the gates of heaven.
