Leonard: Mary Eleanor (nee: Scott),
Passed away at Matthews House Hospice on July 1, 2026, at the age of 94, with her loving family by her side. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Joseph Alfred Leonard and daughter Gay Huntington. Loving mother of Joy Leonard, Scott Leonard and Bronze (Cindy). Dearly loved Grandma of Natasha Pentz, Janice Ireland (Manon Lavoie), Chad (Melissa) and Dean Ireland. Loving great-grandmother of Eleanore Leber. She will be forever in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
In memory of Eleanor donations to Matthews House Hospice would be appreciated.

Joy and Family, please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of your Mother, Eleanor. She will be sadly missed. Remember when we first moved in, you were all just children next door. When you moved Eleanor, you were missed but we still saw you walking every day up and down all the streets of Tottenham. Where you got your energy from, I will never know. Eleanor was the crossing guard on Mill St. for years and was dearly loved for it. She knew all of the kids and they knew her.
We will miss seeing her walking the town by herself and then with her daughter.

Mom you wre a very strong determined lady.
Loved to walk. Twice a day. Walked to Beeton. Did the country block. The nurses said you had beautiful legs from all those walks.
You loved your card games. Euchere with the ladies till your eyesight got bad. You still played everyday with us.
Thankyou for all the love and fun times.
You will be sadly missed..
