My heartfelt condolences to the Westlake families.
Although I crossed paths with Joan only a single time, approximately 35 years ago, I want to let the family know Joan’s kind demeanour, warmth, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression and reached even casual acquaintances. She was indeed a lovely lady that elevated grace.
I have no doubt Joan will be missed, but she will continue to guide your way as you journey on in life once again with her loving spirit watching over you and sending you comfort.
Sincerely,
Jacqueline (Tony and Leighton)

Hi Brian,
Condolences to you Ken, Wayne you’re spouse’s and family . Unfortunately, I just caught the obit at 10:30 yesterday morning as the service was underway. Otherwise, had I known I would have made time and my way to attend. We sure had many great times together over the years and I’ll cherish those memories together forever.
Hopefully we can connect in the near future. I’d like that. I’m still working, no retirement plans but you have my email and I’ll leave my cell number attached.
Feel free, any of you guys to give me a call, anytime.
Again, so sorry for your loss.
Your mom sure was special and she will be missed.
Take care and talk soon,
Jim

Later on my daughter’s had sleepovers with Joan. Dear Ken, Marina, Brian, Karen, Wayne and Darlene and families I’m truly sorry for your loss. Ken, Marina, Brian, Karen, Wayne, Darlene & family,
For most of my life, I’ve had a connection with my Aunt Joan. I would visit the farm & the 3 boys would come to town. Our parents were also very close; going to the same dances & parties. Aunt Joan often called me on my birthday, as I shared the same day as Uncle Allan.
In my adulthood, we were once again connected when we shared P.O.A. responsibilities for a family member.
I hope with time, your memories can help you remember the good times.
Deepest Condolences,
Love Linda, Brian, Kate, David, Christine, Xander & Clover
