Gary Hudson

In Memorial

Hudson Gary2Gary Hudson passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Center in Barrie at the age of 75. He is reunited with the love of his life Judy. He was a loving father to Steven (Tracey) and Karrie Ann (Jason). Proud Poppa to Hannah and Darcy. He will be remembered by Joshua, Julian, and Jayden. He will also be dearly missed by his sisters Kathy (Rick) and Barb (John), and his dear friend Sandy as well as his extended family and many friends.

Gary had a successful career at Grief Containers. He and Judy also enjoyed years operating Aunt Judy’s Boarding Kennel for dogs. Over his lifetime Gary had many hobbies and interests but his passion was his dogs. He earned countless obedience titles and made lifetime friends through them. He will be greeted by Casey, Flyer, Heist, Score and missed by Blitz and Guinness. Gary will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the many memories he created throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

For those who wish to donate in Gary’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Muskoka District Kennel Club [email protected] (Memories of Gary Hudson) would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Online condolences and memories may be left for the family at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com.

So sorry to hear Gary left too soon, I met him at Trials, even though he was into Obedience and I Rally, our paths crossed at training at MDKC. Loved seeing his dogs work and how Sandy did the Rally part for his dogs. RIP Gary and go enjoy time again with loves past

I didn’t know Gary well, but I appreciated and admired him. He was always available to lend a hand and help build up those around him.
If the world was full of Gary’s it would be a better place ❣️

I met Gary many decades ago. I judged him for many decades and he always had the happiest dogs in the entire world! He was truely dogs best friend! When Gary would come to my training hall, it was some of the best times training dogs. He is with his love of his life now, Judy and they are surrounded by the goldens that are waiting at the rainbow bridge. Wish I could have seen the reunion. Hugs to all his family and friends, we will all miss him forever.

It was always a good day at an obedience trial if Gary was there – stories to tell, laughs to be had (always) and usually a bit of good advice. He will be missed by many.

Gary was definitely one of the best. He was an excellent obedience trainer and I enjoyed spending time training my Australian Shepherds with him. He could be very serious, but also very funny. I hope that you and Judy are back together again. Sending hugs to family and friends.

To Gary’s family; Gary was one of a kind. I met him many years ago of course at a dog show. This was the beginning of seeing him at every show. I am not the only one who would have heard so many of his stories. I judged him and competed with him numerous times whether it was during or after he had shown it was always a hoot. I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t smile if Gary’s name was mentioned. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Our sincere condolences to his family.
