Peggy, I just heard of Erik’s passing, and both Lori and I extend our love and best wishes to you and your family. Erik was a terrific guy. He had a great sense of humour and was a good story-teller. He was also kind and caring, qualities that enriched the church family as well as his own. I will miss him. Our love to you all.

    Dearest Family of Erik,
Our hearts go out to you at this sad time. Erik was a long time friend to our entire family. We had many good times with Erik and a lot of great memories. Erik always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
This poem is for you Erik.

    He Only Takes the Best
God saw that he was getting tired,
A cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around him
    and whispered, “Come with Me.”
With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer,
    And saw him fade away.
    Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
    A golden heart stopped beating,
    Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
    He only takes “the best”.

    Love Jim,Debi,Jamie,Carrie,Madison,Jenna&Eric.
