Went home to be with his Lord on Feb. 16th, 2012 in his 89th year. Loving husband for 61 years to Marion, father of Nancy (Abel), Joyce (Antoine), Dorothy (Russell) and John (Peggy). Much loved grandfather to Dan (Megan), David, Carolyn, Jordan, Nathan, Stephen, Greg, Rob, Tristan, Alexandra and Valenda.
A celebration of his life will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 18408 Yonge St, Newmarket at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 20th. Frank and Marion were the founding missionaries of Takaoka Baptist Church,Japan. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Canada (www.fellowship.ca) for the Frank Pickering Memorial Japan Project, or to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated.

Anna and Cheryl join me in wishing you the comfort and of the Holy Spirit as you mourn the death of Frank. You both have been faithful to the Lord and we pray for God’s will to be done during the service today. Sorry we cannot be there to join in the triumphant celebration as he is now HOME WITH THE lORD.
