There are few people whom I have met that made the impression Lee did. I miss him as a constant in my weekly job, to share, to laugh, and pass the time of day. He will be remembered in my heart.

To the Harris Family: So sorry for your loss, but so very, very proud to have known Lee for many years at GO Transit.

In thinking of him, what comes first to mind is the incredible wealth of positivity; his grace and his great sense of humour; unremitting and genuine compassion; and his quietly inspiring, constant warmth.

    A great man indeed.

Since hearing this news, I have a renewed commitment to do my best to carry on in the “Lee Harris Way”. There can never be too much of any of his countless qualities!

He leaves an incredible legacy: he is in the hearts of countless people and brought joy to all, making the world a better place by far.

    Peace.

    To The Harris Family,

I was very sad when I heard about your loss. The most difficult thing to happen to someone is to lose a cherished Husband, Father or Grandfather and your Dad was one of the best.

I remember him from when I was very little and still attending Tottenham Public.

Cherish all your memories and celebrate the times you spent together.

We will be making a donation in Lee’s name to Southlake Cancer Cancer in Newmarket who took such great care of my father in his final days.

Our thoughts are with you in this trying time.

    With Love,
Amie, Roger, Justin and Jake Lambert-Gaudet

    Eileen & family,

My condolences on your loss. I have many fond memories of working with Lee at GO Transit and spending time with him on the golf course. Lee was a gentle man and a gentleman. I still use of his favourite lines when one of my playing partners hits a less than ideal shot “There’s no trouble there.”

To the Harris family, I have met a few men in my life that would epitimize what a gentleman is. Leon, was at the very top of my list. Whether it was at bowling, in the store or a chance meeting on the street, Lee always took the time to shake hands, give that very natural smile and ask with true meaning, ‘How are you?’ but it wouldn’t stop there he’d ask how Bonnie was, Erin, Crystal and later our grandchildren. And it alsways made me feel good to tell him all were fine. That soft laugh he had when we shared a joke or anecdote made me smile. He fought hard to recover from his tumor and never once did he ever let you think that was a reason for feeling bad. He knew God and lived his life as a true disciple of Christ. While we are sad here on earth for his company, I can picture the Communion of Saints standing at the gates of Heaven waiting to shake his hand. Lee had to go Saturday to be in time to join the rest in Heaven to welcome the newly cannonized Saints from todays services. God does have a plan in all we do! Praise Him. Eileen, you and the children take peace in knowing Lee took the 5pm express bus to Heaven on Saturday. Blessings, Bonnie and Ken Pratt and our family

Dear Eileen, I was so please to hear your voice tonight but the news you provided was a shock indeed. I cannot tell you of the countless hours Lee and I spent together at work and on the golf course where it never rained on us. He was my secret weapon against the weather because I knew that God would never spoil his favorite sons’ day.
You and his family should revel in the knowledge of how special he was. I cherish his memory.
