John Kennedy

In Memorial

Kennedy: John Francis, born February 28, 1948, died on January 11, 2013 peacefully at home. Will be forever loved and missed by his best buddy Marilyn Burnett and by his brothers and sisters Maureen, Michael (Patti), Eileen, and Patrick. Predeceased by sister Gretta and parents Tom and Ellen. Much loved and appreciated by his nieces and nephews Carmen, Jason, Ryan, Siobhan, Roxanne, and Sam.
A lover and protector of all things flora and fauna, especially, dogs and cats. A man of great tenderness with a wicked sense of humour and appreciative of good friends, good music, good food and good cheer.
Donations to the Tottenham Foodbank, to the Alliston and District Humane Society or to Painted Rock Farms. Memorial gathering on Sunday, January 20 at the Tottenham Legion, 25 Richmond St. E., from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home Tottenham 905-936-3477.

    I am terribly sorry to hear about John’s death. He was a dear old friend of mine many years ago and I often think of his sweet, gentle and funny character. He was a darling! Warm thoughts and sympathy to the family and friends at this sad time.

    My heartfelt condolences to Marilyn and the Kennedy family. John was a great friend to many and a leader amongst men. I was blessed to have met John and his friendship will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace now. I’m sure he will be with us forever in spirit.
