Peacefully with his family by his side at Headwaters Health Care Centre Orangeville, on Wednesday May 1, 2013. Charles McGillion in his 77th year, beloved husband of Della McGillion. Loving father of Charles (Kathie), David (Susan), Rosemarie McKeown (Chris), Theresa McGillion-Gordon, James, and Michael (Vicki). Sadly missed by his Grandchildren: Samantha, Kimberley, Jennifer, David Jr., Michelle, Shawn, Matthew, Cameron, Rachelle, Tara, Symonne, Alexandra, James Jr., Kyle, and Sarah. Beloved brother of John, Joe, and the late Fred, Margaret, and Mary Ellen. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and many friends.
30 years of devotion to McGillion Transport Bolton, Sonco Steel Tube Brampton, McGillion & Company, John Deere Grimsby, and devoted member of Palgrave Rotary for 25 years.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Friday May 3, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held in St. James Church Colgan on Saturday May 4, 2013 at 2pm. Cremation to follow. Charlie was the best neighbour we could have had. He was always there to lend a hand. As a Rotarian for over 25 years, when volunteers were requested for club projects, Charlie was one of the first to raise his hand. He helped behind the scenes before an event, at the event, and often to clean up afterwards. He especially loved to contribute to anything that benefited children, anywhere in the world. We will miss him.
