Mohlmann: Hendrik Willem “Henry”,

Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday June 2nd, 2013. Henry Mohlmann of Tottenham, at the age of 79 years, beloved husband of Elly. Loving father of Christian (Diane), James (Beverley), Micheline (Tom denBok), and Monique (Cory Castellarin). Remembered with love by his grandchildren Danielle, Kristen, Nicole, Luke, Sydney, Jordan, Ava, and Tea.

Respecting Henry’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Henry’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 329, 25 Richmond Street, East, Tottenham on Wednesday June 12th, 2013. The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm, a Legion Service at 7:00 pm., followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments until 9:00pm. In memory of Henry, those who wish, may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4 Checkley St., Suite 103, Barrie, Ontario, L4N 1W1 or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 329, Tottenham.     Vele herinneringen heb ik aan mijn broer. Hij hield van mensen om zich heen. Had altijd wat te zeggen(in de goede zin van het woord). Ik ben blij dat ik met hem op 30 april 2013 nog een biertje bij de Legion in Tottenham heb mogen drinken.

    My lasting memory of Henry is of the times he would remove his wooden shoe and pound it wildly on the cladding of the wall at Edelweiss Arena in Bolton whenever our team would score a goal back in ’75/’76. My condolences, James.

    Hello James, Beverly and the whole Molhman Family, I only met your father once but I know that in travelling with you James that he was a big part of your life. You and I talked about family often and he came up in the discussion frequently. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

    So sorry for your loss. There is not one person that doesn’t remember Henry in his big yellow wooden shoes, always a “hello” with a genuine smile 🙂 He was a great character!!
