My dad & Roger’s mom were brother & sister. We had some good times together in Winchester in our younger years and into our teens. While she was alive Aunt Alice kept in touch and often mentioned Roger etc., but in the last fifty years Roger & I had no personal contact with one another. Condolences to all of you who were near & dear to Roger at his passing. Leona Brown

Nancy we are so sorry to hear of Roger’s passing. It was so nice to get to know you both in our years at the store in Beeton. I alsways enjoyed talking hockey and family with Roger, a passion for both of us, while you shopped. I will always be grateful to Ray Lisk and his good friend Jim Rutherford for helping to fulfil Roger’s wish to show how big a fan he was of the Stall boys and the Carolina Huricanes. He looked so good in the team colours. Our prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. Bonnie and Ken Pratt

Farewell my best friend. We have made many memories over the years that I will cherish forever. When I think of them it will be with a smile on my face and love in my heart, for I could not have asked for a better friend. “Buds” forever.

Papa Rog loved and if you were lucky enough to feel his love you were blessed!
He loved his candy, he loved his ice cream and he loved The Toronto Maple Leafs but he loved nothing more then his girls! The way he looked at Nancy was like love at first sight everyday. The way he loved Carrie, Christie and Julie was endless and he was always so proud of them! When baby Kaitlyn came it was a different love, a love like he never knew! Just bliss!
I will remember lots of things about Roger, his laugh, his smile but most of all his love!
Our world was a better place with him!
    May you rest peacefully now!
