Nancy, Mark, Katie, Bob, Margaret and the entire family. My heart broke when I received the news of your loss. Jim was an amazing family man, the kindest, sweetest gentleman I have ever met. His work and business ethic was second-to-none. Despite his disability, it was amazing to see that it never changed him. That is the true testament of a person. He was never bitter or demanding. He accepted it with such grace. I have had the privilege of working with Jim for many years (we started with Gulf the same year). He delivered our furnace oil, Bob fixed our furnace, and when I moved into Wholesale at Petro-Canada I had the honor of working with him and his staff. Petro-Canada could never have a better ambassador! He will be sorely missed. We will be praying for the family! Hugs. Paul & Lorraine Arbo

My heart broke at the news of Jim’s sudden passing. As we have seen in the many beautiful messages posted, we all agree his strength and courage was such an inspiration to all the lives he touched. It’s so clear that Jim was highly respected by all that knew him, but it was his abundance of compassion and caring through difficult times that touched my family and I so personally. Such a gentle and sweet man. We are privileged to have known him.
Mark, what a very special inspiration you have had to be guided and influenced by such an amazing man. Your strong work and community ethics, and spirit for life, show you have been blessed by wonderful influences in both your Mom and Dad’s strength over the years. Even though in spirit only now, find peace in thought that your dad will still be there by your side giving you the strength, inspiration, and courage to continue to build and prosper in life – as I know you will.
Our love and thoughts are with you all at this time of great loss.
