A truly great loss. I served on the fire department with Jack and his contribution to the fledgling Adjala Department was enormous. My condolences to the family

Since Sunday, when Jack went to be with the Lord and join Les once again, I have spent many hrs reviewing photo’s and memories of Jack & Les. I and my wife Dot have had the absolute pleasure of sending 100’s of hours with them during both the setting up / operation of the Simcoe Rescue squad and also as they traveled Can/US with us training Fire/rescue Emergency Teams-both Municipal & military, under Cancode Safety Services. Although they have left us physically- their dedication and caring has saved the worldly lives of hundreds!!
I would really appreciate a connect with others who have had the honor to know & work with them over the years; as I put together a well earned and appropriate “Emergency Services” public dedication plaque or Fire/Rescue training sponsorship’ Please email me
” [email protected].”
Hope to see you all on Saturday as we share in a tribute to a couple who also shared their lives and inspiration with us.

Positive memories of Jack, him being so supportive to the Loretto volunteer Fire Dept members. We had just started our dept.(1984) Jack took us under his wing, and was very instrumental in giving us confidence in how to administer First Aid, and care for patients in emergency situations.(Jack was part of the Simcoe Rescue Squad)We all respected his Knowledge, he was a very devoted, caring, and a great instructor to us all. Jay, and family, our prayers and thoughts are with you. Alex and Joan, Wasaga Beach.

Great memories going back to 1970 when Nelson and I became part of the Tottenham Fire Department family. Les and I spent many hours on the radio at the Fire Hall while the boys rushed off in the fire and rescue trucks. Jack loved Les, his extended family and winters in Florida. I so appreciated his many phone calls this past summer. Jay, Jim and families I pray your memories will help you through these difficult days ahead.
