At his home, Hanmer, Ontario, on Sunday September 11th, 2016. Ralph Smalley, formerly of Alliston and Beeton, in his 95th year, beloved husband of the late Kathleen Violet (Bramham). Loving father of Catherine (Gord) Bavington, Donald (Tracey), Mary (Larry) Côté, Brenda Rowley (Glenn), Leonard, John (Kathy), and Kimberly (Dan). Sadly missed by his 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by 2 grandchildren. Dear brother of Alden (Joyce), Mary (Owen) Law, and the late Gladys (George), and Thelma (Bob). Remembered with love by his many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Friday September 23rd, 2016 from 10:00 am until time of memorial service, in the chapel at 11:00 am. Donations in Ralph’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4 Checkley Street, Suite 103, Barrie, Ontario, L4N 1W1, would be appreciated by the family. www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com

    I worked for Ralph many years ago helping out on the farm when I first came up from nova scotia great man talked to him several times on my visits to beeton sorry to hear of you’re loss Allen macneil Timberlea nova scotia

    Ralph was one of my husbands best friends…I could write a book of memories about their shenanigans.
    Ralph was a great guy always ready to help a friend and to drop in for a chat.
    My condolences to the Smalley family and I hope to see you on the 23rd.
