brenda i know what a beautful relationship you shared with your daughter although i was welcomed into your home for days it only took me seconds to see the true friendship you had. leo always spoke of the special bond between the two of you. in the time i spent with christa at your home we learnt that we shared a passion for cooking. like her father she was so easy to talk to and had a way of making you feel so welcome. i had the best of both worlds during my stay because i could talk food to christa and dogs with leo two subjects i never grow tired of. she made the best tomato sauce i have ever eaten. i can not express how sory i am for david and hannah who i also had the pleasure of meeting. my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

I am comforted by my memories of our times together, driving up to the cottage in that jeep with no roof and spending the weekend water skiing, the birthdays, christmas, non of it will ever be the same. Watching you grow into a beautiful woman,a loving and caring mother brought so much happiness to my life. I am sorry that I never told you how proud I was of you and how much I loved you more than I did.

I hope that I can be half as good at being Hannah’s uncle as you were aunt to Madeline and Antonia who miss you deeply. I will not be on the trampoline or taking her camping I will leave that for Dave, I will however take care of keeping her in fashion.

Most importantly I have 25 years of memories to share with Hannah so she knows what a wonderful person you are and how much you enhanced all of our lives.

I also take great comfort in knowing that you and Dad are together, most likly having a good debate or dancing up a storm whatever you both are doing I know that your spirits will be with us until we are together as a family again.
