Long ago in the St. James choir, I always loved how Fran could sing those high notes and especially as she topped off “The First Noël” – heavenly! …a very special lady in that and in her humility regarding such a talent.

Thèrèse, your mother meant so much to us. She was like a grandmother to the kids and a mother to me. I’m so sorry that we didn’t get a chance to get up to see her recently. Take comfort in knowing that she is with your dad and at peace with God.

We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family. Jim fondly remembers Fran from playing hockey with John as a child. Years later, while working at Ponderosa, he and Fran had many good chats catching up in recent events. Seeing John at Foodland, our conversations were always about our folks.

John, Therese and Kathryn we are so sorry for the loss of your mom. Mrs Picco was always special to me and would remind me constantly in the early years that I was to look after her John. She was so proud of here children for each of your very special talents in very diverse jobs. She was happy when she had a visitor from back home from Ottawa or There was a new show debuted at the Theatre or John constantly looking after her and your dad and thought enough of them to stay around. Life has been a little harder for her these last few years but her and Ron will be looking down from heaven watching over her precious grandchildren and children. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love to all.
