I have fond memories of my Aunt Florence from the days she came to visit the dairy farm I grew up on, to later on when she became a wife and mother and my sisters and I would travel to Toronto for overnight visits. Always a caring, kind, happy lady who showed a genuine interest in all the people in her life.

Florence was a lovely lady and I’m honoured to have known her.
I have always found this poem comforting as I hope you do too:
A stream can have no ending,
    for the ocean never ends.
A path winds on, though we
can’t always see around its bends.
    Our view must stop
    where earth meets sky,
but both stretch on and on
We cannot see our loved ones – still we know they are not gone.
For God has promised us a home through all eternity where life and love continue far beyond what we can see.

    Thinking of Sue/Dave, Janice/Mike, Steven/Victoria, Valerie, Andrea/Simon, Kieran/Cassandra,and Jamie/Kiannah.

Sue, Dave, Janice, Mike and families, We are so sorry for the loss of your mom, mother-in-law and above all Grandma.Your mom and dad were such great people, your dad as talkative as she was a lady of few words. When they were in the store or if at a meet-up on the street, she always had that big smile and twinkle in her eye that let you know she was so happy to see you. I know that she was a person of great faith and will be whole and happy in the arms of the Lord with Harvey by her side. She was so proud of you all and lit up speaking your names. You were all so wonderful to her. Like salt and pepper, cream and sugar or bread and butter, her and Harvey were always one with the other. Although hard to say goodbye, it is a special reward to be on the road in Heaven looking for a good Legion meal. Love to everyone. Bonnie and Ken
