I was so sorry to hear of Dorothy’s passing. We were neighbours in Beeton Creek, and there were three of us named Dorothy that were good friends, and that always gave us a chuckle. Dorothy was kind and gentle, loving and fun. We kept in touch after moving, and then It was always great bumping into each other in unexpected places. I remember her fondly , and my condolences to all of you, her family.

So very sorry to hear that Dorothy has passed. I just saw her at Zehrs in February and she was looking and sounding as chipper as ever. We were fortunate to know Dorothy as a neighbour and friend when we lived in Beeton Creek. We have many fond memories of chatting with her as she walked with Cindy. Our sincere sympathy to John and family.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dorothy. I’m a neighbour and had the pleasure of meeting her on walks with our dogs (oh how she loved her sweet girl Molly). Dorothy was so kind and a joy to talk to. She invited me and mom over for tea and biscuits and shared wonderful stories of Scotland, her late husband and spoke of her son quite often. I will miss her greatly my heart breaks for the family. She truly was one of a kind.

I moved this year to Tottenham but I lived in Beeton on Second Street when I met Dorothy and Molly. We would walk our dogs together and found out we both lived in Malton and had the same doctor. She came to see me last year after my surgery and she never stopped walk with her bad knees and having her eyes done. She Was An Awesome Lady. I was very luck to know her. I will miss seeing her.
