At Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto, on Friday March 19th, 2021. Doris Armstrong, in her 79th year, beloved wife of George Volk, Schomberg. Loving mother of Lisa (Hank Stephen). Dear sister of Dorothy Fike.

A family service will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham. Interment, Schomberg Union Cemetery.     To George and family,
    My deepest condolences goes out to you and your family with the loss of Sweet Doris. She knew my family (Astrid Hall and Leny Jansma) I got the pleasure of getting to know Doris at the VON. Doris was so sweet, she laughed a silly things I may have said, she was a competitive person for play games with, she loved to have her hair done!

    Doris and I used to play together . Weekends spent with her family and mine while the Dad’s were fishing.

    I was so sorry to hear of Doris’ passing.

    Please accept my sincerest condolences.

    I have known her and the family for more than 50 years.

    Doris was such a loving mom to both Darlene and Lisa and an exeptional wife to George.

    She will be deeply missed.
