    Dear Gewn and family,
Sorry to hear of your loss. We remembered James when training for the Olympics and commandeering the sofa in the cramalot inn Saturdays at track three. The joking around and the fun on the bus. He had a wonderful sense of humour.

Zach and I are so very sorry for the loss of James, whom we know was a bright spot in your life. Losing a son is devastating, and no words can ever really relieve that pain. Zach’s and my thoughts and hearts are with you during this very sad time. The highest form of love is remembering and honoring those who have passed. Although it is no healing balm, we hope that your many happy memories of James helps to soothe your pain in these coming hours, days, and weeks.
We have made a donation to CADS in James name.

Gerry and Gwen… On behalf of all of the staff at King Fire and Emergency Services, please accept our condolences. James was a great addition to our family. He taught us many things along the way, and taking “no” for an answer wasn’t part of his vocabulary or even giving in or giving up for that matter. He was an inspiration on what we can do as individuals as long as we believe in ourselves. When it came to public education, he was passionate. He cared and understood the mission… looking after the well-being of our residents. The void of not having James around will be filled with memories of what he stood for and did for our communities. RIP James, we will take it from here.

    To James Binsfield’s Family,,
Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss. I met James at The Best Retreat Camp and was immediately impressed by James’ Joie de Vivre! He did not allow his congenital heart defect prevent him from living and enjoying life. He wholeheartedly threw himself into every camp activity. He was never sitting on the sidelines! He knew how to push his limits and when to take a break. Those are such important lessons that James taught me and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of meeting him! May you find comfort from family and friends during this heartbreaking and difficult time.
