Hi, we heard that Aunt Mary had a great send off. Sorry we couldn’t make it. Aunt Mary will always be in our hearts, as she was such an amazing lady. She always had a smile, and her little snicker when she laughed, we will never forget.

We have lots of great memories. Miss you mom. Love Pat

    To my dearest GRANDma,

Words can not explain how deeply saddened I was to have to say Goodbye to you, but I sit in comfort knowing that you have walked through the gates of Heaven and have gone to a place of healing, and no more suffering. The Heavens are cheering and rejoicing you and I couldn’t be happier.

As a little girl I called you Grandma, you would look after Brock and I when mom needed, you would fill us up on sugar and giggles and you would be on the sidelines cheering us on at any event we were apart of.
As a young adult I would not only call you Gran but I would also call you Friend and in the last ten years I have called you Mum.

You were one of my BIGGEST supporters in my life, and one of the biggest models I got to follow. There were times when I needed comfort and I knew you were the one I needed to lean on, and when I did you never disappointed. You always took my hand and looked me in the eyes and reassured me that I will be okay, and most times you didn’t have to anything I just knew.

We have done a lot together you and I, so many things I can’t put them all down as it could be pages long, but the best memories I have had with you have been sitting or laying beside you in bed talking about the future or our feelings that day, good or bad. We have laughed Lots together (pee our pants laughs) and also shared tears. I know there are people who are jealous of my relationship with you and I think when it comes down to it, I really think it’s because we actually had a friendship, we weren’t just family, we knew each other on a much deeper level which I can cherish forever.

I am blessed to have mom (Monica) as my mother as she reminds me of you the most. She has so many qualities that you have passed down to her and she has earned them honestly. She learnt how to work, and work hard, she even loves gardening just like you. Maybe you could have taught her to give a couple inches of space in the garden. Every time I come over we have a new plant to plant. Just like you did. She loves her community and knows how to ‘Pay it Forward’ just like you did so many times. It seems like every person she comes across is impacted by her goodness. She truly got that from you.
Gran you have done just that in your 95 years. You have always put others first no matter how much it would have changed your day. You always had an open door in the 31 years of knowing you. From coffee, to holidays and more.

I am thankful for all the times we have had together, especially for having you be my flower girl in my wedding and for the opportunity for you to meet my son. I hope I can live out my best self and teach my boy how to love others and how to work hard and appreciate what he has, just like you have taught us through generations.

I know my life is going to change a lot but I am 100% thankful for All the time I have spent with you over the years. I look forward to seeing you again and getting the change to meet Grandpa and your boy Danny.

I love you Grandma, my sweet Angel ❤️
