Kearns: Peter Victor,
February 25, 1939 – February 26, 2022
Born at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston, Peter was raised, lived, and worked in Adjala Township in his early years. In the mid 70’s he was the Reeve of Adjala Township. Peter passed away peacefully at Hardy Terrace Long Term Care Nursing Home in Brantford.
Predeceased by his wife Frances McVeigh (Kearns). Leaving behind his daughters Heather Carter Kearns (Gordon) and Colleen Kearns, and his two granddaughters Chloe & Ashlynn. He is survived by his brother Paul Kearns. Predeceased by his parents James and Ethel Kearns (nee: Bradley), and his late siblings: Marion, Mabelle, Jim, John, Barney, Charles, Leo, Patrick, Frank, Lou. Missed by all his nieces, nephews, and friends from near to far.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Saturday March 5, 2022 from 11am to 12:45pm, followed by Mass of Christian burial in St. James Church Colgan at 1pm. Interment will be held in St. James Cemetery Colgan. For those who wish donations to the animal charity of your choice or planting a tree in Peter’s memory would be appreciated by the family.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your father. I have lots of great memories spanning the years of Uncle Peter including his gentle hug good-bye the last time we met in Aug. 2019. May Uncle Peter be at peace and rest easy as he reunites with his siblings and parents…(Say hi to my Dad for me–Barney–up there!). Although I will not be at the viewing or mass, please know that I’ll be there in spirit and you’ll be in my thoughts.
