Mary Jeane Nugent (nee: Okunowicz) at 69 years, passed away peacefully July 10, 2022, at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, ON. Beloved wife and best friend of 47 years to George Nugent. Loving mother of Katherine (David Principato). Forever remembered by grandaughters Caitlyn (Nick) and Isabella. Mary deeply adored her daughter and granddaughters who were the centre of her world. Lovingly remembered by her cousin and close friend Regina Schnitzer (Adam). She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Stanley and Sophia Okunowicz. Sadly missed by her affectionate furry companion Sophia. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Matthews House Hospice Alliston for their care and compassion.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Thursday July 14, 2022 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 12pm.
