My heart is broken…. today I will say goodbye to one of my favourite people…Dave, you and Kim had visits with me every Saturday morning for 20+ years. I was just a kid, fresh out of school. I will never forget how I felt the first time you sat in my chair. I was so afraid… you were this big guy and looked so tough….I quickly discovered Your heart was far bigger than you… and you were a guy I was gonna love… so many years, so many stories, so many ups and downs in both of our lives…I will forever cherish my memories of you. I had a difficult time trying to figure out what to say. I mean what can be said about a man who was more like a brother to me. David’s mere presence at work made my day. Seeing him always made me smile. I looked forward to seeing him everyday at work..sharing stories, jokes, anecdotes, anything we could think of. I have felt heartbroken ever since I found out about his passing. David you will be truly missed but you will never be forgotten. You’ll always be in my heart buddy. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest condolences to the family.
