Peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Anne Marie, in her 84th year, beloved daughter of the late John and Mary Walsh. Dear sister of Catherine (Wayne Mundy), M. Carol (Peter Vanderpost) and Margaret (Jeff Mc Gibbon). Cherished sister in-law of Maureen Walsh. Loving sister of the late Tom (Mary), John and Ed. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Catholic Faith will follow at St. James Church Colgan, 2118 Adjala Tecumseth Townline, Colgan at 11:30am, with interment in St. James Cemetery, Colgan. Aunt Marie was such a special person in our family. I have only one clear memory of Grandma and Grandpa before she came back home to care for them after they became ill and she took on an important role in our lives in so many ways, with her many visits, babysitting and her never failing interest and concern for everyone. She also showed her generosity with presents to all 26 nieces and nephew every Christmas. She was a very much beloved sister and aunt. She was a teacher at different schools, including St Patrick’s in Schomberg. She was intelligent and curious, a woman of great faith, who also loved to visit and chat and had that Walsh twinkle in her eye when she laughed. Thank you Aunt Marie for all the love you brought to our lives.
