So sad to hear of the passing of your Mom. That smile, quick wit and strength. Fondly remember the King City years, she was like our second Mom. We had a banter, her and I even as a young girl, that still puts warmth in my heart and a smile on my face.
Mom was so happy to have had a conversation with your Mom just a few weeks ago
reminiscing. She sends her deepest condolences.
Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

As I look back on the many years we have known the Donn’s. It is with a heavy heart that I am saying my final farewell to a very special lady. Arlene, a lady of promise, true to her words with an adventurous nature. Her faithfulness, and everlasting love will be cherished. She was spunky, smart and an inspiration. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts as we look back on the last 30+ years. My boys considered you to be their grandmother, they will miss you.
May family and friends find peace and comfort within their memories.

To the entire Donn family,
As a young teenager, I looked up to Arlene and her husband Al. Arlene was so strong, smart and a role model for me, a young girl who was newly introduced to the Wraxall family as a stepdaughter to her brother George. I have so many fond memories of Arlene, and smart, strong, loving and funny are words that best describe those memories of her. My deepest condolences to your whole family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at his most difficult time.

Dear Brian, Debbie and family,
We are so very sorry to hear of Arlene’s passing. What a wonderful and kind lady, she will be missed by everyone who loved her.
Al (McClure) especially remembers being included in family celebrations and being treated as one of the family. He will sadly miss Arlene’s good-humoured “iron fist” jokingly putting him in line when needed, (which seemed to be a lot).
Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

Doug, Brian and Jim,
We were shocked to hear of your mom’s passing. Karen and I send our deepest condolences to you and your families. When I was younger my parents always threatened to send my brother and I to Auntie Arlene’s if we got into mischief, to this day I am still scared of her. In reality she was the kindest sweetest person I have ever known. Auntie Arlene you are loved and will be missed.
Love Karen and Wally

Brian, Debbie, Jim and family,
We were very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing.
I enjoyed little visits with her at events or at her home. She always appeared to be a feisty lady and those ladies are always fun to spend time with.
Mrs. Donn always had a smile, a twinkle in her eye and you rarely got anything past her.
Our hearts go out to all of you at this very difficult time.
