Barbarajean James

In Memorial

James: Barbarajean.
Peacefully, at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston, on Wednesday January 23rd, 2019. Barbarajean (Batty), in her 81st year, beloved wife of David James. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law Tony (Molly), Keith (Betty), Monica (Klaus) Windmuller, Rosemary (Mike) Naemsch and the late Gus (Barb) and Gloria. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at The Church of the Evangelists, 99 Queen St N, Tottenham, ON, L0G 1W0 on Sunday January 27th, 2019 from 1:30 pm until time of Memorial Service at 2:30 pm. A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow. Donations to Matthews House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.     Jean, you and I were of the same kindred spirit. Knew you since I was 10 years old, and unfortunately no one told me of your passing, but our thoughts will always be with you, and I truly believe you know that. You were always the sister I would have wanted. Hope your soul is in a peaceful place and we will see you in the next dimension.

    So many happy memories of time spent with Barbarajean and you. I felt so sad and then some memories of some of our shenanigans came and it brought such a smile to my face. She will be missed.

    We are so saddened by your loss. Your dear wife’s cheerful smiles and greetings were a source of joy to all in the community.
    Your example of compassion & devotion to Barbarajean is surely one to emulate and will be fondly remembered.

    Barbara Jean was quite the woman, she said it like it was no mincing of words…..you knew what she wanted and definitely what she didn’t want..she was a good hearted ,funny and so loved her David ,,,and loved animals,,,and David you are a treasure,,,you looked after her so well she was very lucky to have you..my thoughts are with you and your family

    I am very sorry to hear of Babarajean’s passing. You will be missed beautiful lady with a keen sense of humour. Fond memories shared at Tecumseth Pines.
