Bill and I had become wrestling buddies at Banting Memorial High School and had many good times.
Unfortunately I had lost contact with him and the years passed before I had ever renewed our friendship. I am saddened to hear of his passing but know that he has left a legacy here on this earth.
My condolences to his family and friends.
    Sincerely Robert Saunders

Such sad news. I remember how graciously Bill & Mary opened their home to us all for family reunions, their wedding (maybe the first one I ever attended I’m thinking), & even Uncle Pete unloading a full tractor trailer of sod that Bill personally delivered directly to us on a site in St. Catharines. At family reunions, weddings & funerals, how Uncle Pete always sought out Billy to talk sod & cars was awesome. Our sincerest condolences to Mary & family, & Margy & Bobby & their families. I will miss his knowing smile & quiet grace.

It was very sad to hear of Bill’s passing. Bill Nosad was well known at Banting Memorial Highschool, not only for his top notch wrestling skills which brought the School much recognition, but also for his very pleasant personality. If you needed a hand, Bill was always there. When I paid the Welding Class to build a staircase in our new home, Bill was part of that crew. He also helped install it. Our friendship continued to the point that, when he was preparing for his Wedding, he came to our home to plan his Wedding speech – what a great gentleman! We will always remember him and pray for him and his family and friends. As we are currently in Myrtle Beach, we will sadly miss his final goodbye.
