Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on November 16, 2022. Robert ‘Bob’ Lingard in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee: Silk). Dear father of Darren (Lindsay), Blair (Alycia), Thomas (Laurie)
Loving brother of Jean (Frank, deceased) Dupuis, and brother in law to Glenn (Judy), Linda (Wayne), Mark (Sylvia), Helen (Jim) Brian R and Lucie. Predeceased by Brian (Tommy).
Cherished and Proud grandfather of Teghan, Taylor, Paige, Hunter, Jackston, Jesse, Athena and Beau. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews and one great great nephew.
Bob was a long time member of Erin Legion Branch 442 in Erin, serving as president for 4 years, and holding many other positions on the executive. He was a proud volunteer firefighter with the Erin fire dept for many years.
Bob was a beloved youth bowling association coach for 17 years in Orangeville at OK Bowl, along with many other community events and endeavors which resulted in him receiving an Ontario Volunteer service award from the Provincial Government.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Erin Legion, Branch 442, 12 Dundas St E, Erin, ON N0B 1T0, on Saturday December 17, 2022 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Donations in memory of Bob can be given to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham.
