Ross: Robert Lawrence “Bob”,
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, on March 28, 2024, at his home in Beeton. Bob Ross at the age of 82 years, beloved husband in their 60th year to Shirley Ross (nee: Gibney). Loving father of Lori Walkem (Brent), Tammy Nosad (Daryl), Deb Isnor (Len), Bob Ross (Lucy), and Brian Ross (Kristen). Dearly loved Poppa of Taylor (Becca), Sydney (Josh), Nicholas, Sarah, Braydon, Katie, Alyssa, Nathan, Leiya, Madisyn, and Lily. Soon to be great grandfather of Grayson. Sadly missed by his furry friends Buddy, Boots, and Phoebe.
Bob enjoyed his woodworking, coffee tables, end tables, book shelves, hutch, picnic table or swing, nothing was too big or too small. Bob in his spare time could be found in his garage puttering about and a cold beer in the fridge. Country music on the radio or an 8 track playing his favourite song. It would be no surprise to find him in the living room with Daniel Boone playing on repeat, and a chuckle that anyone could recite a scene or hum along to the theme song.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the family residence. Donations in memory of Bob to the Alliston & District Humane Society would be appreciated. Online condolences and memories may be left for the family at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com.
