My deepest Condolences to the entire Ough and extended family and friends. Growing up in Schomberg with Brad was a delight. I have many memories of Brad including when i worked at the Schomberg Arena on Public skating days and he would sprint into the arena to get his skates on and onto the ice where he would go full speed for the entire hour. Others include being at the Smith (Hanlon) cottage and seeing the pedal boat getting pushed into the lake and Brad making his way over to come hang out with us. I took Brad on many boat rides around Williams lake and he always put a smile on my face. We all as a group where again up at the Smiths cottage this past weekend and were upset that we wouldn’t being seeing him in his pedal boat heading our way to give us all a hard time. He will be missed by so many. Heaven has received a true angel and I’m sure he’ll be skating or in his pedal boat up there.

Brad was always so welcoming and kind whenever I met up with him – be that in Aurora when he was doing yardwork, at the cottage chatting up the neighbours or around town in Schomberg. It was so easy to be around Brad and I will miss him greatly. I enjoyed his stories about his Olympic days, how proud he was of his family members and the quieter moments when we’d just sit and stare out at the lake. I cannot imagine how it must be to not have him around, laughing that big, beautiful laugh or giving those wonderful hugs. I will look for Brad in the stars at night and send you all much love as you navigate this huge loss in your lives.

Brian, Norine & family, our hearts go out to you at this sad time. We will miss Brads smile & chat at the arena. He always made sure he welcomed new players and families to the Nighthawks & was a big help at the dance every year. His smile and energy will be missed.
Our thoughts are with you all

We have been sharing thoughts about Brad and our time with him as part of the Nighthawks. His greeting to others was one of a kind. Brad’s smile was infectious and he was always ready to party at the dance.
Leafs could have used his defensive skills, getting that puck hard up the boards.
Sending our love, Terry, Loren, Nick and Jess

Wishing at this time to send my heartfelt condolences to the Ough Family. Right from the first time I met Brad I thought he was a wonderful young man. I always looked forward to seeing him at his Aunt and Uncle’s next door to me on William’s Lake and saying hello to him. His laugh was infectious! He was always so friendly and would talk to me whenever we saw each other. I loved to see him out in his peddle-boat. His presence will definitely be missed here at the lake.

    RIP BUDDY

Dear Norine, Brian, Chris, Tracy and families,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Brad! I remember well his athletic prowess at the Keogh 500’s, where his baseball skills were second to none! When I saw Brad’s basement apartment and heard his drumming skills, his contentment in being independent was certainly evident!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.
