When I was 15 I got a Kidney infection and stayed at Stevenson Memorial in Alliston. I shared the room with Charlie at that time. I was scared at that time, yet Charlie was so positive and cheerful and telling me he was here for his Diabetes. Every once in a while I think of that day because I got type 1 diabetes 3 years later at the age of eighteen. I always wondered how Charlie was doing, I just made 60 the other day, and I noticed Charlies death ( for some reason I look over the OBITS at Rod ABRAMS every once in awhile ) I remember Barb from High School at Banting, my condolences to all members of his family. Charlie left a very positive memory with me that day at Stevenson Hospital that i think about. Rest in PEACE Charlie. Dan Peterson

Wow, Chuck and I hung out through our grade school days, we shared our love of different music and he always had a low key misdemeanour and was a good listener.
I last saw him at my 50’th BD at Loretto Inn with Smokey Monaghan band playing.
    RIP my friend. Mony.

I’m so sorry for your loss. The wake was very nice. There were beautiful pictures on the boards. I haven’t seen Charlie for many years, but he was my cousin. God bless Charlie and his family. May he rest in peace, and may his family have peace also

Our condolences to the McCullough family. We grew up in the same neighbourhood and played a lot of street hockey. But I’ll remember Charlie most for his amazing hand sketched drawings.

To my beloved cousin’s Bonnie and Barbie. I am so sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. I remember him fondly with his funny laugh and big beautiful smile. I have many lovely memories of our Thanksgivings, Christmases together at Grandma’s and my Mom’s. He was always nice to me and always fun to be around. I will miss him. RIP Charlie. Give Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt Jack and Aunt Vi and Bill a hug and kiss from me.

I am so sorry for your loss. Charlie was a big and important part of my growing up and even though we lost touch for many years, when we did see each other it was as though a few days had passed and we would chat and enjoy each other’s company like always. We would talk about music, the old days and life. He will always be remembered, spoken highly of , and my friend. He will be missed.
