Chess was introduced to me through my brother Peter (passed 01/30/2011)back in the late 90’s and he immediatley made an impact and became a friend.
We remained in contact over the years and enjoyed catching up occasionally, I always came away from our encounters feeling the better for it! Chess was a special person and will always be fondly remembered as a caring individual who would do anything to assist others.
I’m sure Chess and my brother are together now looking over us and enjoying the humour of watching the rest of our lives unfold!
Rest in peace Chess!
Mike

There are no words that can express the sadness I feel at the passing of Chess.
Remembering The sno-mobiling trips in Mactier, Pig roasts in NY, and many visits we had togeather brings a smile of fond memories of happier days.
May God Bless your eternal rest.

Margaret Haw says
Dear Chess (my “honey”).
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around you and whispered “Come with me”. I wish I could have been there when you passed away. My love for you was not enough to keep you any longer. I missed the opportunity to kiss you goodbye. Your golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands are now at rest. The constant physical pain endured is finally gone. Until we meet again.
Tears of love,
Margaret
