I best remember Chris for her many moments of bliss
She would go to many lengths
To show others her great strengths
One of which was to shine in her very busy kitchen
    Making many tasty dishes,
    That was her commission
A champion she was of her yearly mixed garden
Lots of flowers and veggies, Chris was a sharp one
I treasured her help when Paul and Linda were wed
The planning we did, not enough to be said
    Then along came two babies
    Named Jennifer and Jon
To add joy to her life
    T’was genuine and strong
These are some attributes that I remember most
May Chris rest from her labours of being an excellent host.
    Fond remembrances, Noreen

We met and crossed paths many times at the Theatre Aurora.
Few and far between are ladies like Chris.
Heaven has gained a bright and beautiful light.

My deepest condolences to the family. I used to live next door on Wellington St. many moons ago. I fondly remember having skating parties in the back yard. Hell, just parties in the back yard. I think we drove your Mom and Dad crazy but they loved us all.Your back with John. R.I.P.CHRIS ❤

Chris always opened up her home to friends and family. She made everyone feel welcome. She was a superb cook and baked the best pies. She had two of everything! She was a proud individual that stood strong in her beliefs. The passion she felt for
    animals(especially dogs)was undeniable.
    Thinking about the family,
    may happy memories replace
    any sadness in your heart.
She lives on through us, within our hearts and in our minds.
Mrs A. I hope you are with John, Murray, any other loved ones and all of your pets.
I’d like to think that our paths will cross again.
    Love you, may you
    Rest In Peace

To the Alcock Family, your Mum and Grandma was very a very special lady! She was always so interested in what was going on in your life, ready to lend an ear and a kind word or two. And, she would always share her recipes, which was a real treat! I will never forget how she would make John walk me home after dinner – even though we only lived a few steps away! She will be remembered always, and sadly missed. Love to you all

Mrs A was one of a kind! We have fond memories of her at the Boxing Day dinners back in the day. She really knew here way around a kitchen and could cook up a storm! She will be sadly missed by many and especially by us. No one will forget Chris’s big smile and hardy HELLO! She was always interested in what you had to say.

Chris was always lovingly known as the feisty gal who didn’t need any help. She showed up to every gathering we held with a wonderful appetizer and of course would take a drink or two!
She always had a story to tell and loved our Lucy pup.
A wonderful strong, determined women whom I hope to model in my coming years.
    Rest In Peace Chris xox

Dear Paul, Linda, Jennifer and Jonathon, We were so saddened by the news of Mrs A’s (as we always called her) passing. She was a constant in our lives as teenagers and young adults. Always welcoming us into the family home and stuffing us with delicious food. We always admired her fierce independence and zest for life. Please know we are thinking of you at this very difficult time and our wish is that your wonderful memories bring you peace and comfort. Love Paulla & Greg xoxo

You were a “bright light” to me during your time at Simcoe Manor. It was an honor to help you Chris.

I will forever remember your funny dry sense of humour.

You always spoke highly and lovingly about your family + the special dog “Whiskey” who you were so proud to have named.

Blessings always to you + your family.
