Dana Coulter

In Memorial

CoulterDana2Coulter: James Dana  (June 12, 1951 – September 11, 2015).

On Friday September 11th, 2015 Dana succumbed to a quiet, strong battle with cancer, at his home. He passed peacefully under his favorite tree with his wife, high school sweetheart, soul mate and best friend of 45 years, Marilyn (Chart) and his faithful buddy “Mac” by his side. He is now resting in heaven with his beloved son Glenn.

Dana was a strong, silent person, with a dry sense of humour, who was family focused especially with his sons John, the late Glenn, and their wives Tara and Melissa. He was proud and doting to his grandchildren Emma Coulter, Sarah Coulter, Benjamin Coulter, and Isabella Coulter. He is survived by his mother Maurice Coulter and his siblings Donna (Frank) Rudge, Floyd (Bonnie) Coulter, Sandra (Harley) Sherman and pre-deceased by his father Donald Coulter and his father and mother-in-law Arthur John and Emma Chart. He was fondly loved and will be remembered by Jayna Sweeney, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and life – long friends.

A Celebration of Dana Coulter’s  Life will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at the Rotary Hall Beeton from 2-5pm, with a Remembrance Ceremony being led by Jane Archer at 2:15pm.

Arrangements entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home.

    Marilyn and Family
Very saddened to hear of Dana’s passing so shortly after the loss of Glenn.
I knew of Glenn through conversations with Dana at work and know that Family was very important to Dana.
Dana was my co worker, boss and mentor for many years with Hydro and made your day better with his conversation, jokes and advise.
Dana will be missed by all who knew him.
    Rest in peace

    Marilyn and family,
We are saddened by the loss of a wonderful, kind, gentleman. He adored his family, and was so proud of how he bought you roses every Thursday. He really enjoyed being a mentor to the new apprentices as well. He will be missed by the hydro family.

    Dear Marilyn, John and Family,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Dana’s passing. We will always remember his quick wit and sense of humour. Words seem so inadequate at a time like this as one can’t even imagine the pain and suffering that has been bestowed upon you these past couple of weeks. May you somehow find strength and comfort in your cherished memories.

I was very saddened to read of Glenn’s passing , and now, Dana. I was privileged to work with Dana back in the early ‘i80s in Beeton, and was very impressed with his ability and leadership. I always considered him as a friend. May the memories of your many years together help you through this very difficult time.
