Sylvia, Leanne and Danny, Our Lord has one of our good guys. Disappointgly way to early. David was a great influence, friend and mentor to me and many others. Most importantly, he was a decent human being, so proud of his family, work, always using his heart and being respectful of other’s needs. He will have a very special spot in my heart forever as I will never forget his kindness.

Sylvia, my apologies for not being there in person, unfortunately my condition did not allow it.Will get in touch with you to see if there is anything I can do.

    Frank.

Anyone who was fortunate enough to have spent time with Dave had no choice but to come away as a better person. It was impossible to not have some of his good hearted nature rub off on you. We all wish that we could have had more years with him. I had only 18 years but his examples of how to deal with people and life will stay with me and others for the rest of our lives.

He was a role model who led by example. Dave set his standard on how to treat people around him in an open, honest, fair and respectful way. He looked for the positives in people and encouraged, guided and empowered others to bring out their best. Always very modest about his own many accomplishments in work and life, he would take the time to ask open questions and listen carefully and look for the way to do the right thing. He had a way of making people feel good about themselves.

He will be missed but always remembered.

Our thoughts are with Sylvia and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss.

We at HBC will feel it as well, for some of us, Dave was a part of our”everyday” for the past20years.Like a part of our family.I know how you all must feel as I too lost my father when he was only53 and Dave was there. He was very supportive and considerate and sadly now, he too is gone.

Little do you realize the impact of someone until they are gone. Thanks to Dave I have celebrated and long a fruitful career at HBC Transportation. I know that Dave impacted, influenced and interacted with many people over his 36year career and I feel he is part of our HBC HERITAGE. His presence and everything that he contributed here will be missed. He was a true and dedicated professional, he lived and breathed HBC.

GOD BLESS and REST IN PEACE

Although it has been a while since I worked at Hbc, I was saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. Dave was a class act, second to none in the industry and always there with great advice and willingness to help. We shared a few good laughs!

My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Miss Me but let me go!

When l come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the times that we once shared, Miss me but let me go!

For this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone. It’s all part of the Master’s Plan, a step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart go to the friends we know. and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds:

Miss me but let me go !!
