Dave. I still can’t believe you are gone. I still wake up every morning, and reach for you, and then I realize again, you are gone. I will never be able to look into your beautiful blue eyes again, or share an inside joke, that only you and I knew. Or watch football and eat your amazing spagetti sauce.
I will miss your willingness to go rescue another kidden (our joke) and watch you fall in love with them. I still go to ask you something, and realize with a sickening jolt, you aren’t here. I miss you dearly Dave. I hope you are with all our deceased family and friends. Love you always and forever….Wifely.

I had a difficult time trying to figure out what to say. I mean what can be said about a man who was more like a brother to me. David’s mere presence at work made my day. Seeing him always made me smile. I looked forward to seeing him everyday at work..sharing stories, jokes, anecdotes, anything we could think of. I have felt heartbroken ever since I found out about his passing. David you will be truly missed but you will never be forgotten. You’ll always be in my heart buddy. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest condolences to the family.

ah Foey, where to start. You were always up for the challenge. Kind, caring, compassionate. The drives down the 401 to scoop yet another rescued kitten, and the patience you had to endure throughout all of this! You were a good man and we are going to miss you. May you be at peace.
Heartfelt condolences to the Tooze family, hugs to Paul and Sissa.
With much love from Dale and the boys. xxoo

My heart is broken…. today I will say goodbye to one of my favourite people…Dave, you and Kim had visits with me every Saturday morning for 20+ years. I was just a kid, fresh out of school. I will never forget how I felt the first time you sat in my chair. I was so afraid… you were this big guy and looked so tough….I quickly discovered Your heart was far bigger than you… and you were a guy I was gonna love… so many years, so many stories, so many ups and downs in both of our lives…I will forever cherish my memories of you. Rest In Peace my friend… till we meet again!! Xox

I am so going to miss you my friend. You were a kind and gentle soul. We had many deep conversations that would last long into the evening (or morning sometimes). Our shared love of great music was a common topic for us. Your humour, your kindness and your laughter are just some of the things I will never forget about you. I can only hope and pray that we meet again someday.
