Findlay, Dorothy Race
Peacefully at King Nursing Home, Bolton, on Friday, June 12th, 2009. Dorothy (Race), in her 98th year, beloved wife of the late Don M. Findlay. Loving mother of Peter and his wife Carrol, and Jennifer. Sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Dear sister of the late Arthur and Harry Race. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Phyll. Remembered with love by her niece and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Sunday, June 14th, 2009 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel, 11:00 am Monday, June 15th, 2009 followed by interment in King City Cemetery. Donations in Dorothy’s memory to the charity of your choice or the King City United Church would be appreciated by the family.
