At Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Monday, July 25th, 2011. Ernie Bowering Sr., of Alliston, in his 83rd year, beloved husband of the late Alma. Loving father of Ernie Jr. and his wife Margaret of Englehart and the late Brenda Gagnon (Marcel), and Howard Bowering. Remembered with love by his 8 grandchildren: Corinna, Michael, Lori, Michael, Charlene, April, Barbara-Ann, and Becky, and his 17 great-grandchildren: Tara, Marissa, Zachary, Ethan, Bryhton, Gabriel, Jacob, Preston, Cody, Logan, Savannah, AshLee, Summer, Haylee, Luc, Skyler, Hope and his 3 great-great-grandchildren: Ella, Serenity, and Caleb. Dear brother of Ruth Bruce (late David) and Ken Bowering (Gwen).
Sadly missed by his dear friend Audrey Brown. Pre-deceased by his brothers: Clarence, Howard, and sisters: Emma, Charlotte, and Joyce. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Fraser Presbyterian Cemetery, 3rd Concession of New Tecumseth, East of the Tottenham Road, on Saturday afternoon July 30th 2011 at 1:30pm.
