I’m sadden to hear about the loss of Mr. Laidlaw, known to me as Frank. I use to work at Avalon as well at Angels diner (that he frequently attended) and saw his bubbly smile many a times… He was a wonderful man with an awesome disposition. He enjoy spending time with his niece and nephew. He is now gone with the Angels to get his wing that he so deserves… Im glad to have met him as he made an impact on many lives

So sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. Our sincere condolences to his family. We have many happy memories of Frank and Helen during and after his years at Owen. He was so unassuming in all his endeavours yet the world is a much better place for having shared 96 years with this gentle man.
